UV Integration for Machine Manufacturers
We support manufacturers in assessing UV integration into their machines. Technology, components, interfaces and supply responsibilities are defined for the specific project.
From component to subsystem: defining the scope of supply together.
We start from the machine's requirements to define the components, interfaces and activities to include. Process assessment, power supply, UV assembly, control and commissioning support are agreed in the technical proposal.

A solution built around the process.
Joint engineering
We work with your engineering department on space requirements and the performance needed.
Scope of supply
The scope may include the UV assembly, power supply and interfaces with the machine, according to the requirements and activities agreed.
Integration development and verification
Any prototyping, testing and support activities are defined in the technical proposal.
Understand first. Then design.
Requirements
Machine, product and performance.
Interfaces
Mechanical, electrical and software.
Verification
We define tests and acceptance criteria.
Partnership
We develop alongside the manufacturer.
Preparing the system for delivery

For a manufacturer, the interface matters as much as the subsystem.
When working with machine manufacturers, we define mechanical, electrical and software constraints from the outset. The UV system needs to become part of the machine, not an element added at the last moment.
Mechanical interface
Overall dimensions, mounting points, working distance, accessibility, guarding, cooling and extraction are defined in relation to the machine's geometry.
Electrical interface
Available power, protective devices, control cabinet, wiring, I/O signals, permissive signals, emergency functions and diagnostics are agreed before manufacture.
Software interface
PLCs, HMIs and communication protocols are integrated into the machine logic with defined, documentable states, alarms and commands.
Prototyping, testing and commissioning activities are defined according to the requirements and agreed scope.
Preparing the discussion between engineering departments
Not every component needs to have been selected before starting the discussion. It is useful, however, to distinguish confirmed requirements from open issues: available space, the result on the product, machine control and available utilities may be at different stages of development.
- Share a preliminary layout and identify the dimensions that cannot change.
- Describe the line sequence and the signals planned for the UV subsystem.
- Separate the activities required from the supplier from those managed by your engineering department.
This distinction makes it possible to discuss a proposal with clear boundaries before fixing the components and interfaces. Test arrangements and the aspects to be checked on the machine need to be agreed for the project. For more on communication between controls and subsystems, see the industrial automation page.
Let us build the subsystem your machine needs.
We start from your production process, materials and the result you want to achieve. The solution comes afterwards.
